SSO receives dozens of business plans a month. We make every reasonable attempt to carefully evaluate all submissions to our firm and vet the potential “winners” from the more marginal plays.

A Note on Non-Disclosure Agreements:
SSO's ability to remain in business is dependent upon keeping entrepreneurs' confidential information private. That fact notwithstanding, SSO, like most venture capital, private equity and business advisory firms, does not sign Non-Disclosure Agreements. Because SSO interacts with hundreds of companies and individual “creatives” each year, it would be nearly impossible to manage the legal logistics for each of these contracts. The best counsel perhaps is to use discretion about information you believe is truly proprietary.
